Kavanagh's growth prescription includes shale

Trevor Kavanagh - still writing for The Sun - tells George Osborne he has it in his power to win the next election, by a landslide.

If he wants growth, says Kavanagh, he must go for business deregulation.

He must ditch crazy, costly green policies and follow America’s shale gas bonanza which has slashed energy costs and reliance on imports.

Finally, says Kavanagh, the Coalition has to "take on the over-mighty public sector unions who stand in his path on each of these vital issues".

Deregulate, cut the green shackles, and go for shale.
