Teachers trotting round Europe at our expense

The Taxpayers Alliance has picked up a report of an EU-funded (that means us, by the way) project financing teachers to travel to other European countries to see how teaching is done there.

Is this a priority? No.

Could the school have spent £11,000 better? Yes.

And why was Turkey included?
